Up and Down
Age: three months-one year
Beginning:
Set baby on your knee and hold snugly around tummy Tell baby that you are going to bounce them.
Middle:
Bump baby gently up and down on your knee. Sing "(Baby's name) goes up" and "(Baby's name) goes down"
Earlier children may:
Enjoy slow bouncing to the simple song.
Later children may:
Want to bounce themselves while standing holding your hands. They may also like to bounce faster and to a different songs.
End:
"In 3,2,1 we are all done!"
